Over viewGiant panda: Chengdu, hometown of panda, is famous for the protection and breeding of endangered wild animals that are unique to China, including giant pandas and red pandas. It is honored as “the national treasure’s natural paradise and the people’s land of idyllic beauty” for its beautiful environment of overlapping mountains, clean water, lush trees, and chirping birds.

Giant Buddha &Mount Emei:etThe Leshan Giant Buddha is a 71-metre (233 ft) tall stone statue, built between 713 and 803 (during the Tang dynasty), depicting Maitreya. It is carved out of a cliff face of Cretaceous red bed sandstones that lies at the confluence of the Min River and Dadu River in the southern part of Sichuan province in China, near the city of Leshan. The stone sculpture faces Mount Emei, with the rivers flowing below its feet. It is the largest and tallest stone Buddha statue in the world[2] and it is by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world.Mount Emei China, and is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China.The Mount Emei Scenic Area, including Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Sitesince 1996. “

Emei Kungfu: Emei Kungfu is a group of Chinese martial arts from Mount Emei in Sichuan Province, one of the major “Martial Mountains”. It is known for its swiftness and flexibility. Folklore and literary fiction associates it with women. Emei Kungfu encompasses a wide range of systems, and is known for its animal-based fighting methods owing to the abundant wildlife of the mountain range, particularly monkey style and its unique Southern styles. Emei Kungfu combines both internal and external practices. Low stable stances with little hopping are characteristic. Jumps are executed very lightly and quickly, and its movements are very diverse. Many of its most effective techniques are derived from the use of the wrist.

Tea Plantation: In Emei tea village,tea households are normally small, family-based operations for tea cultivation. From harvesting to packaging, there are full of stories.  Harvesting tea is heavily dependent on weather conditions, so tea could not usually be produced throughout the entire year. Tea picking is a central component of the entire tea production process. 

 Itinerary

Day 1: Panda Base，Leshan Buddha，Mt. Emei                

tour will start at 8:00am in your hotel lobby

 Our guide will meet you at your hotel and then we drive about 40min to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding Center.

 After spend morning time at Panda Centre, we will drive for 2.5 hours to one of the World Heritage sites – Leshan Giant Buddha and visit the 71 meters high Buddha from the boat.

 Finally,we’re gonna take 1h driving to Emei Mt. Checking in the temple. And then we’re gonna stay at the Bao Guo temple to have vegetarian dinner and have a rest. There will be a master, one of senior monk taking you around the famous temple and sharing his Buddhism knowledge with you. Please enjoy the unique experience.

Day 2: Golden summit ,Wan Nian temple                            

We’re gonna take the cable car up to the golden summit. At the Golden Summit, the mountain area 3,077 meters above sea level,we could see a 46 meters high bronze Buddha  and the Golden Summit is an ideal place to view the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the “Buddhist lights” .After that, we’re gonna take the shuttle bus to the Wan Nian temple. After visiting the temples, river, pavilions, lake and monkeys(maybe),we will back to the Bao Guo temple.

Day3：                                                        

We shall leave for tea plantation in an old village on the way back to Chengdu. Up to the Mount and learn how to pick tea, and it’s a great chance that we can visit the local family and see how to make tea by hand.

Back to Chengdu at noon, and you will have a leisure time in Chengdu.During the free time, it’s easy to have a walk around the people’s park and Jinli old street.

PS: temple stay is a basic nice clean room but clean public shower and toilet. If you just want to 1 night experience, another in a hotel, we still offer an option, which can book 3-4 star standard hotel for you on day 2.
